Design
My designs are discussed in detail with the client, are innovative and combine both contemporary and traditional working methods and processes. My practice draws on many disciplines in the specialised field of architectural metalwork. Elements of my work are often derived from natural fluid forms and structures.
Initial concepts are discussed with the client before a proposal is presented along with working drawings. Concepts are created in both two and three-dimensional images. Each design is tailored for the specific needs of both the site and the client.
Manufacture
When turning working drawings into bespoke pieces or functional objects I pay great attention to high standards of manufacture and finishing. all my work is with with quality materials from marine stainless steel to bronzes, artworks which will stand the test of time with low maintenance schedules. There are many patinas and surface treatments that can be selected for the finishing of works.
Installation
Standards of care are employed throughout every commission and this carries on during the transportation and installation of works, undertaken by experienced installers.
